Civil-rights litigation (confidential)
A single-tenant legal AI platform that makes a large discovery corpus queryable — with citations, a reconstructed timeline, and possible contradictions flagged for counsel.
Anonymized at the client's request. Capability shown; no case details disclosed.
The problem
A complex active matter required rapid analysis across thousands of discovery documents, depositions, expert reports, and public filings. Manual review was too slow; standard e-discovery surfaces documents but does not synthesize arguments or catch where accounts disagree.
What we built
- 01Ingested and indexed the full corpus with citation-tracked retrieval, so every answer points back to a source document.
- 02Built timeline reconstruction and entity cross-referencing across the document set; possible contradictions between accounts are surfaced for counsel to review.
- 03Added a grounded drafting assistant that produces arguments cited to source documents — AI-assisted drafting, reviewed and approved by counsel before anything is used.
- 04A security review validated document security, client-data isolation, and encryption at rest; legal-risk review checked all outputs against unauthorized-practice-of-law boundaries.
The outcome
Counsel gets instant, cited answers across thousands of documents, draft arguments grounded in the record, and a continuously updated case timeline. The platform runs single-tenant on an active matter.
